Alex has over 15 years’ experience delivering renewable energy and zero carbon technology including work for some of the most prestigious clients in the country.
Alex has extensive experience in construction, CDM and EPC contracting involving the design, installation and maintenance of a wide range of technology.
Alex can advise clients and their representatives in the private and public sector and in the commercial and agricultural space. The types of services he offers include strategic advice and feasibility studies, procurement, project management, connections to funding solutions and grant sources and access to some of the best brands in zero carbon technology the market has to offer.
John completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Bristol, reading Aeronautical Engineering, where he was awarded1st Prize in a cross-discipline renewable energy project by the Royal Academy of Engineering.
Having spent two years as the Chief of Staff to the CEO of a FTSE 250 energy retailer, John saw the opportunity to partner with Alex and support organisations across the South West of England to build a path towards a Net Zero future.
Robin is a Chartered Construction Manager with over 20 years’ experience in the Construction sector. He recently joined Renew EV from a small residential developer in Bath where he successfully oversaw multiple sites from land purchase through to client handover.
Previous to this he worked for Buro Happold as a Senior Sustainability Consultant providing services including detailed energy strategies, alternative technology appraisals and holistic organizational sustainability consultancy.
Robin achieved an MSc through the Centre for Alternative Technology where his thesis focused on Community Energy schemes. He is looking forward to supporting clients in their transition to a net zero future!
Craig began working in the Renewables sector in 2014 before moving to Bristol as an MEP Consultant. Following this, he joined the Royal Navy, gaining his commission as an officer, where he spent six years, notably as a marine engineering department lead.
Now with 10 years’ experience in services engineering, Craig has joined RenewEV, recognising the satisfaction from contributing towards a purposeful goal of a more sustainable future.
Joe has 15 years’ experience working on large EPC projects with industry leading engineering contractors, managing procurement teams and expediting complex projects to ensure their timely, on budget completion. This is all underpinned by a First Class BEng Hons in Computer Aided Engineering, and an APM qualification.
Joe moved into the renewable energy sector to find a more purpose driven role, with a view to help reduce carbon emissions in the local area whilst still utilising his previous experience.
Anna is a Graduate Consultant with RenewEV who joined the company in the summer of 2023. She studied BSc Geography at Loughborough University and completed a placement year at Pembroke Power Station. During her time on placement, she developed a passion for the energy industry, particularly in renewables and decarbonisation. Having written her dissertation on the use of GIS software to locate suitable sites for onshore wind developments across Scotland, she hopes to put her passion and knowledge into use developing community renewables across Bristol.
James retrained as an electrician during lockdown, leaning on transferable skill sets acquired studying music technology and production, and from full roots-to-rafter renovations in his own homes.
Moving to Wiltshire, he chose to apply his combined knowledge towards doing better for the community and planet, showing an interest in a more sustainable future for the next generation.
A keen outdoorsman, you might find James spending the weekends hanging from remote rock faces or river swimming with his wife Chloe and collie Riley.
Peter is co-founder and Managing Director of Bath & West Community Energy, Deputy Chair of Community Energy England and a trustee of the Centre for Sustainable Energy. He is co-chair of the BEIS ministerial advisory group on community energy.
Peter has worked in the sustainable energy field and on community energy for over 35 years, having led the early development of the Centre for Sustainable Energy as Chief Executive, where he originally started in the mid-eighties working with schools and communities. Since resigning from CSE in 2002 due to family illness, Peter has worked as an independent advisor on a range of energy efficiency, renewable energy and fuel poverty projects for various government, private and voluntary sector clients, with a strong focus on community action.
Eve is a Graduate Consultant with RenewEV, and works as a Renewable Energy Project Developer for both Bath & West Community Energy and Bristol Energy Cooperative. During her BSc Geography degree at university, she developed a love for geology and sustainability. She now has the desire to make a difference by improving renewable energy infrastructure, through developing community rooftop solar projects and advocating for onshore wind energy. Lastly, Eve has experience in project management and working in cross-cultural teams.
Vishwas Reddy is a Graduate Consultant at RenewEV, with a First-Class Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a Master’s in Renewable Energy from Cranfield University.
Driven by inspiration from a personal project and a passion for environmental impact, Vishwas transitioned from electronics to renewable energy. His expertise includes solar PV, Energy Storage, and SLES. At RenewEV, he supports the team with research, modelling, and insights into sustainable solutions.
John is a renewable energy engineer and project manager specializing in community-owned renewable energy.
He has been involved in the renewable energy sector for 30 years. Prior to joining RenewEV, John was Development Director of Energy4All, supporting the development and operation of community renewable energy co-operatives across the UK. During more than 15 years with E4A, he worked on wind and ground-mount and roof-top solar projects. He was the E4A representative on the boards of 5 E4A co-operatives. John now supports a wide range of Community groups on large scale projects.
Charlie finished his Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s degree from Swansea University with 1st class honours in 2020. He is currently working for RenewEV remotely from Switzerland whilst also completing a Masters in Energy and Environmental Engineering at Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
Charlie is also the co-founder and CEO for the Swiss company KohlenKraft.
Charlie is driven, intuitive and ambitious; his passion for renewable technology is shown in his commitment to RenewEV and ability to juggle a start-up company, Master’s degree and part time job.
Lauren is an intern at RenewEV, originally from Bath, she is now studying Mechanical engineering at the University of Sheffield. Alongside her degree, she is involved with the Sheffield chapter of Engineers without borders, building a wind turbine from old van parts which helped inspire an interest in renewables. When not engineering, she can be found getting very muddy, either in her garden or in the Peak district. She is excited to work at a company that is making a tangible difference.
Isabella is part of the Community Energy team, supporting the delivery of renewable energy projects. Since graduating with a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Nottingham she has travelled through several countries, immersing herself in diverse cultures and gaining a new perspective on global communities.
During her year in industry, Isabella collaborated with local organisations utilising her expertise and passion for sustainability. Isabella is motivated to apply her varied skillset and contribute to the clean energy transition and net zero ambitions.
