Southwood Common farm, Shepton Mallet
Southwood Common Farm is an excellent example of the typical stage by stage process that RenewEV takes to identifying and implementing onsite renewable energy. To date, RenewEV has helped over 30 farmers with this process using solar, battery energy storage, wind and AD technology.
Following an energy monitoring process, RenewEV identified the underlying potential for a solar PV installation alongside some immediate energy efficiency improvements. RenewEV then completed a full solar and battery feasibility process to determine the optimum system size and configuration to maximise cost and carbon savings for the client. Following this, RenewEV acted on the client’s behalf to procure the project – obtaining quotes and clarifications from reputable installers, managing site visits and making a recommendation. Finally, RenewEV employed years of industry experience to project manage the installation.
